1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrendsFox platform available at trendsfox.com (the "Service"), operated as a UK-based product ("TrendsFox", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Service Description

TrendsFox is a software-as-a-service platform that monitors publicly available Reddit content via the official Reddit API, uses artificial intelligence (powered by Groq/Llama models) to cluster posts into thematic trends, and delivers insights and alerts to subscribers. The Service is designed for market research, product development, content strategy, and competitive analysis purposes.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your use of the Service.

3. Account Terms

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

Each account is for a single user. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account, unless your subscription plan explicitly permits it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or target individuals identified through Reddit trend data.
• Attempt to re-identify anonymised or aggregated data to target specific Reddit users.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute raw Reddit data obtained through the Service.
• Use the Service in any manner that violates Reddit's API terms or any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond what is provided through our official API.
• Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violation of these terms, including suspension or termination of your account.

5. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis according to your chosen billing cycle (monthly or annual).

All fees are quoted in the currency displayed at the time of purchase and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your subscription.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Price changes will apply from your next billing cycle after the notice period.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, AI models, branding, and documentation, is owned by TrendsFox and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose during the term of your subscription.

The trend insights and reports generated by the Service are provided for your use in accordance with your subscription plan. You may use these outputs in your own business operations but may not resell or commercially redistribute the raw output as a competing product or data service.

Reddit content displayed within the Service remains the property of its respective authors and is subject to Reddit's terms. TrendsFox does not claim ownership of any Reddit content.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Trend data and AI-generated insights are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions. The accuracy and completeness of insights depend on the availability and quality of public Reddit data and the performance of third-party AI models.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of Reddit posts or any third-party content surfaced through the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrendsFox and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct may harm us, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall remain in effect.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TrendsFox and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. General Provisions

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TrendsFox regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
